. >> greta: tonight president obama and governor romney going to battle over foreign policy, national security and the economy. >> i congratulate him on taking out osama bin laden and going after al qaed yachl we can't kill our way out of this mess. >> governor romney i'm glad you agree we have been success envelope going after al qaeda but very to tell that your strategy has been one that has been all over the map. >> we're talking about the middle east. and how to help the middle east reject the terror we're seeing and attacking me is not an agenda attacking me is not talking about how we're going to deal with challenges in the middle east and take advantage of the opportunity there and spend the time. >> here is one thing i've learned as commander in chief. we've got to be clear to allies and enemies about where you stand. and what you mean. the clock is ticking. we're not going to allow iran to perpetually engage in negotiation that's led nowhere. >> from the beginning one of the challenges is that they've looked that the administration and felt waits not as strong as it needed to
. >> bill: president obama once again verbally attacking mitt romney during the final debate. but the governor laid back. >> attacking me is not an agenda. attacking me is not talking about how we're going to deal with the challenges that exist in the middle east. >> >> bill: so who won and who lost? krauthammer, rove, morris, and i will analyze. >> more aggressive moderation? >> no. i want answers to the questions. >> bill: this morning on cbs there was a much livelier debate than the one we saw last night. we will show you what happened. >> so you didn't learn anything because i didn't learn anything. >> caution, you where to enter the no spin zone, the factor begins right now. hi i'm bill o'reilly, thanks for watching us tonight. who won the final debate? that is the subject of this evening's talking points memo. nobody won but we the american people lost that's because the debate was boring. same old stuff over and over. and where were the pointed questions by moderator bob schieffer? i mean, where was the libya stuff? the pakistan stuff? all the questions were general. w
problems. we saw that in libya. now many, including governor romney, believe that president obama's foreign policy has weakened america and emboldened our enemies. romney says iran, egypt and taliban and others no longer fear us therefore americans are in far greater danger than they were when president bush was in power. in short, governor romney believes in the big stick when necessary. that is crux of tonight's debate. whether america is in an exceptional country that has a moral right to lead the world, or whether we are a country no more entitled than anyone else. more romney is a huge advantages because of the libya business. i am sick and tired of hearing about it. president obama owes the american people, we the people, a press conference. he owes it to us to explain what the hell happened over there and why security was not what it should have been. this i don't want to hear any more excuses. i don't want to see any more finger pointing. i want to know the facts from the president's own mouth. more obama is in charge of foreign policy. again he must hold a press conference and expl
think he is kind of smug and arrogant. >> comedian dl huely not a big fan of mitt romney's, but why? he will tell us in no uncertain terms. >> he has, to me, what seems to be a disdain for people that he can't relate to. >> but dennis miller loves governor romney and is campaigning for him. miller will assess the third debate tonight. >> he is a good man. >> bill: caution, you are about to enter the no spin zone. the factor begins right now. president obama to win the election and when it comes to influence, it is the tv news operations that have it. newspapers mean little on the national level and the internet is ball con niced so it is television that continues to dominate. diane sawyer the anchor of abc "world news tonight" early in her career she worked for richard nixon helped him write his memoirs. no political affiliation given no money to political parties. brian williams anchors nbc nightly news. young man intern in the carter administration. he has no political affiliation. no political donations given by mr. williams. however he he has said negative things about conservatives
, that the debates are over, the two candidates are getting personal with the american people. mitt romney portraying himself as a problem solver, a man who can create millions of jobs. president obama telling the people that the governor is a b.s.er and that he is the real job creator. mr. obama largely avoiding the national media, taking the personal message directly to the folks. and what is that personal message? well, it's kind of like the message we deliver here on the factor every night. could it be? could it be the president is taking his campaign rhetoric from us? >> there is no more serious issue in the presidential campaign than who can you trust. >> we trust you. >> trust matters. who is going to look out for you? >> bill: i am bill o'reilly and please always remember that the spin stops right here because we are definitely looking out for you. >> you know, ohio, you know me. you know i mean what i say. you know that i do what i say i'm going to do. >> my philosophy on character building is simple. if you say you are going to do something, no matter how small it is, you do it. do what you
. williams. but this is one big mess. and the national media is not demanding answers nor did governor romney during the foreign policy debate. by the way, despite that interview with mr. obama, the factor at 8:00 last night beat the nbc program rock center in total audience, which is kind of amazing. getting back to libya. my view is this: muslim terrorists were tracking ambassador stevens. they had heavy weapons at the ready. and saw an opening to attack in benghazi. there is nothing spontaneous about that. the cia was caught napping, then froze when all hell broke loose. apparently not understanding rescue options or what was at stake. when the damage and death became fully known, the obama administration tried to manage it, rather than report it. and so chaos developed. people like u.n. ambassador susan rice, as well as white house spokesperson jay carney did not assess the situation correctly to the public. talking points believes carney and rice were told by the public what to say but by whom? that is the question that brian williams should have asked. because president obama has to kn
